It doesn’t matter if you were with your ex for a month, a year or 10 years, you want them back. How do you get your ex back? It’s actually easy with these tips.
1. Stop The Communication
Stop speaking to your ex. This means not communicating with them at all. Everything is out the question, such as saying a simple hello or returning a text or call your ex. The bottom line is communication must best be stopped. The reason why is because you don’t want your ex to justify why they broke up with you. It’s best to cease communication with your ex. Trust us, your ex will notice this and will be wondering what you are up to. After a few weeks have gone by, then go ahead and communicate with your ex, but keep things short and sweet.
2. No negative Talk
When you start communicating with your ex, regardless if it’s via text, email, social media etc. ., make sure you do not talk negatively. Towards the end of the relationship, your ex may have considered you a negative person or think you had negative energy. This may not be true at all, but it is far better to be safe than sorry. In other words, keep conversations positive in nature. Even if your ex opens the door to negative talk, keep things positive. This will go a long way with your ex.
3. Change And Show It
Too many people give it a week or two before contacting their ex and telling them how much they’ve changed and how great it is and how much of a good person they have become. In reality, they haven’t changed at all and sooner than later the ex notices this and never talks to them again. What you want to do is determine what areas you can improve in and then actually start working on it. Once you have changed, show your ex you’ve changed instead of just talking about it. If you truly changed, your ex will notice and you’ll have a great chance of getting your ex back.
4. Say Sorry
If you know for a fact that you were mainly at fault for the break down of your relationship with your ex, then do yourself a favor and offer an apology. It should be a heartfelt one and not come off as if it was forced. Your ex will tell if you are not genuinely sorry or apologetic. Think about what you did that caused the relationship to break down and then apologize for it. Your ex will be impressed by you apologizing. Remember, don’t talk negative. Just apologize and leave things at that.
5. Make It All About Them
Instead of talking about you, talk about your ex and what’s going on in their life. You want to make your ex the focus of your conversations. If they try to make the conversation about you, then take it right back to them. Trust us, you will score brownie points by being more of a listener than a talker.
6. Ask For A Date
Finally, ask your ex if they’d like to go on a date with you. Don’t ask them for one until you’ve been talking for at least three months. This will have been plenty of time that has passed by and it gives you time to show your ex that you have actually changed. Once they go on a date with you, you can ask for another date and then close the deal.
That’s how to get your ex back. If you want to get them back, then implement what you’ve just learned.
